JSW Energy recently announced that its subsidiaries have successfully signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a total of 1,325 MW of wind and solar projects, marking a firm step in the company's investment in renewable energy and providing strong support for the company's long-term growth goals.

According to a statement released by the company, the power purchase agreements signed by JSW Energy this time include a 1,025 MW agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and a 300 MW agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). The conclusion of these two agreements has increased JSW Energy's total locked capacity to 13.6 GW, further consolidating the company's leading position in the renewable energy field.
Sharad Mahendra, joint managing director and CEO of JSW Energy, said in a statement: "The signed PPAs account for 36% of our pipeline capacity. This important progress will accelerate our goal of reaching 20 GW of capacity by 2030. This is a key step in our commitment to promote green energy development and actively address the challenges of climate change.
