On April 25, 2026, in the Jiangtian Data Industry Park in Tianjin, rows of energy storage battery compartments were facing the cooling tower wall of the server room. Engineers from Shuangdeng Corporation are debugging the last set of energy storage inverters, and the photovoltaic arrays outside the wall are synchronously connected to the busbar. When the first green power was directly injected into the AIDC cabinet, the history of domestic computing power centers relying on dual insurance of diesel generators and mains power was rewritten.

120 MW energy storage landed in Tianjin
The scale of the Jiangtian Data Energy Storage Project won by Shuangdeng Co., Ltd. is 120MW/240MWh, which is the first large-scale AIDC park in China to achieve direct connection of green electricity and integration of source grid load storage. The project deeply binds photovoltaic power generation, energy storage peak shaving, and data center load, with priority given to direct supply of green electricity to cabinets. The energy storage system reduces peak shaving and valley filling, replacing traditional diesel backup power and single grid power modes. In recent years, Shuangdeng Co., Ltd. has continued to increase its investment in the data center energy field. This winning bid validates its delivery capability in AIDC backup power and energy storage full scenario solutions.

Cracking the Power Anxiety of Computing Centers
A medium-sized intelligent computing center with 5000 cabinets consumes as much electricity as 100000 households. Currently, AIDC parks are facing dual pressures of tight grid access capacity and tightened carbon emission targets. The configuration of direct connection of green power and energy storage can significantly increase the proportion of renewable energy consumption, while reducing electricity costs through peak valley arbitrage. After the project is put into operation, it is expected that the proportion of green electricity in the park will significantly increase, and the reliability of power supply will be synchronously enhanced. Computing power and energy enter dual wheel drive
The integrated model of source network load storage is rapidly extending from industrial parks to computing power centers. Previously, many domestic cities have piloted data centers to participate in demand response and green power trading, but this is the first large-scale AIDC project that deeply couples green power direct connection, energy storage configuration, and computing load. After the completion of the project, a replicable low-carbon computing power center model will be formed, providing a technical roadmap reference for the power guarantee of large-scale intelligent computing clusters during the 15th Five Year Plan period. As the end of computing power increasingly points towards electricity, this handshake between green electricity and energy storage may redefine the energy base of data centers.Editor/Gao Xue
