On July 8, 2024, Shanghai Baoye successfully won the bid for the construction and installation project of Malaysia Donggang's 800000 ton heat recovery coke oven supporting dry quenching coke.

The project is located in the East Coast of the Peninsular Malaysia at the Tengganu Gamalpang Steel Plant, covering the transportation pit, main structure, dust removal system, gas boiler, coke storage and transportation facilities, heat pipe heat exchanger, dust removal ground station, distribution room, electrical room, deoxygenation water pump station, transfer station, corridor transportation system, auxiliary facilities, and related demolition and construction projects. The project adopts advanced dry quenching technology, aiming to improve energy conservation and environmental benefits and optimize coke quality.
