Intensify cooperation with Chinese car companies

Russian Avito Tor Chairman Gorbunov stated in an interview that the company plans to continue deepening cooperation with Chinese car companies and continuously increase the proportion of Chinese car models produced in Russia.

Gorbunov revealed in an interview that the factory is currently mass producing 22 passenger cars from 5 domestic brands, and will launch an additional 7 new cars by 2026. The project is not limited to whole vehicle assembly, but covers the full chain manufacturing of high-end spare parts, with the goal of increasing the localization rate of parts to 85% by 2032.

Steadily implement self-developed accessories

The enterprise has now achieved local manufacturing of in vehicle electrical appliances and electric drive components. At present, the limited production capacity of electric drives is due to the fact that the Russian new energy vehicle market is still being cultivated. At the same time, plastic exterior parts such as bumpers and rearview mirror housings have also been independently produced. The localization progress of various car models varies, but relying on the industrial support policies of the Russian side, enterprises are determined to deepen localization and prepare for mass production of key components such as engines and transmissions in the future.

Gorbunov expressed gratitude to Chinese car companies for their cooperation in localizing their layout and aligning with Russian automotive industry policies; Located in the Kaliningrad enclave, on-site production can solve the high logistics problems caused by land transportation barriers.
