Since the beginning of 2024, Zhuzhou has actively responded to the country's strategic deployment of additional treasury bonds to strengthen the disaster prevention, mitigation and relief system and enhance the ability to defend against natural disasters. With unprecedented strength and speed, it has fully promoted 24 key water conservancy construction projects with a total investment of 633 million yuan. These projects aim to make up for the shortcomings in disaster prevention, build a solid safety line, and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the city.

On June 18, with the official start of the Mashi Water Gate Removal and Reinforcement Project, it marked that Zhuzhou's 24 treasury bond water conservancy construction projects had fully entered the construction stage, and the established goal of starting all projects before the end of June was achieved ahead of schedule. Up to now, the cumulative investment in the project has reached 273.1 million yuan, accounting for 43.2% of the total investment in the project, showing Zhuzhou's strong momentum and remarkable results in promoting the construction of major water conservancy facilities.

Zhuzhou Water Conservancy Bureau focuses on four strengthening strategies to efficiently promote national debt water conservancy projects: set up a city and county special team led by government leaders, keep a close eye on project nodes, implement daily tracking, weekly reporting, and monthly scheduling to ensure progress; strictly control quality and safety, optimize construction, and strengthen management; actively coordinate with finance, resources and regulations, and environmental protection departments to solve early problems and ensure the smooth start of the project; at the same time, scientifically reserve projects, improve the project library, promote them in stages, improve the maturity of projects, and make every effort to ensure the smooth completion of the projects.
