China Energy Construction has won bids in Tanzania: Tanzania's Dodoma University Laboratory Building Project and Tanzania's 12MW Photovoltaic Power Plant Project.

Experimental Building Project of the University of Dodoma, Tanzania

Recently, China Energy Construction Jiangsu Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the laboratory building project of Dodoma University in Tanzania. The project is located in Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania, and the contract period is 15 months. The project content is to build a laboratory building with a total construction area of 6,500 square meters, covering related basic works, main works, decoration works, mechanical and electrical works, outdoor works and other related ancillary works.

The successful implementation of the project will significantly improve the teaching quality of the University of Dodoma and its academic status in Tanzania, further enhance the company's influence and competitiveness in the Tanzanian market, and lay the foundation for the subsequent development in the field of Tanzania and Africa.

12MW photovoltaic power plant project in Tanzania

Recently, China Energy Construction Jiangsu Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. and Tanzania Maximum Energy Co., Ltd. signed a contract agreement for a 12MW photovoltaic power plant project in Tanzania. The project includes the construction of a 7MW PV plant in Uluwila District, Katawi Province and a 5MW PV plant in Bamawi District, Doruqua Province.

Tanzania has abundant solar and thermal resources, with between 2,800 and 3,500 hours of sunshine per year. After the completion of the project, it will improve the local power supply situation and provide strong support for local economic development.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
