On August 16, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Feicheng City 10GWh Prussian blue-based sodium-ion battery production project was held in the Weilan Science and Technology Industrial Park in Feicheng, Shandong Province, marking the official start of the construction of the project.

The Feicheng 10GWh Prussian blue-based sodium-ion battery production project started this time will build the world's first commercial Prussian blue-based sodium-ion battery production line, which can realize integrated green manufacturing from core materials to battery cells. Among the technical routes, the technology is the most advanced, the cost is the lowest, and the efficiency is the best.

This project is the result of joint efforts between Shandong Lingyisi Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and Feicheng City Urban Investment Group, with a total investment scale of up to 4 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will have an annual production capacity of 10GWh Prussian blue-based sodium-ion batteries, with an expected annual output value of up to 6 billion yuan, and is expected to contribute 1.5 billion yuan in profits and taxes, injecting strong impetus into local economic development.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
