China Power Construction Corporation has won two major new energy projects in Xinjiang, with a total investment of over 1.5 billion yuan. The project covers two key parts of the Gurbantunggut Desert Base: the first is the PC engineering general contracting of the 400000 kW wind power project in Shantou Mulei, and the second is the PC engineering general contracting of the 125000 kW photovoltaic project in Shantou Mulei within the same base. These two winning bids not only demonstrate the strong strength of China Power Construction in the fields of wind power and photovoltaics, but also mark another important milestone for the group in the construction of new energy in Xinjiang.

The construction content and scale of the PC engineering general contracting for the 400000 kW wind power part of the Gulbantunggut Desert Base Project in Mulei, Shaanxi is a wind power project with a development scale of 400MW. The project is located at the Bostan Fourth Wind Farm in the northeast of Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. The installed capacity of the wind power project is 400MW. The wind power is connected to the 35kV side of the jointly built 220kV collection station through a 35kV collection line. After being stepped up to 220kV by the main transformer, it is connected to the 220kV side of the 750kV collection station in Mulei South.
In the bidding for this project, China Power Construction Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. proposed to win the bid at a price of 1128426892.00 yuan, becoming the first place. The second place is China Railway First Group Electric Engineering Co., Ltd., with a bidding price of 1180325256.63 yuan. The third place is China Water Resources and Hydropower Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., with a bidding price of 1075960321.16 yuan.

The construction content and scale of the PC engineering general contracting of the Gurbantunggut Desert Base Project (Shaanxi Investment Mulei 125000 kW photovoltaic part) is a photovoltaic project, with a development scale of 125M photovoltaic+6.25MW/25MWh energy storage+110kV booster station. The project is located in Queren Township Photovoltaic Park, Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. The planned new photovoltaic installed capacity for this project is 125MW. Based on the relatively flat terrain within the planned site, 260208 pieces of 580Wp double-sided double glass modules are planned to be arranged using fixed brackets, with 26 pieces arranged vertically in double rows, totaling approximately 10008 strings. The total installed capacity on the DC side is approximately 150.92MWp.
In the bidding for this project, China Power Construction Northwest Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. proposed to win the bid at a price of 403994899.00 yuan, becoming the first place. The second place is China Water Resources and Hydropower Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., with a bidding price of 381682901.45 yuan. The third place is Guangxi Construction Engineering Group Second Installation and Construction Co., Ltd., with a bidding price of 381220220.00 yuan.
China Electric Power Construction Group, with its outstanding strength, has successfully won the bid for two major new energy projects in Xinjiang - the PC general contracting of the 400000 kW wind power and 125000 kW photovoltaic projects at the Shaan Tou Mu Lei site in the Gurbantunggut Desert Base, demonstrating the group's leading position in the field of new energy. The construction of these two major projects is not only a powerful fulfillment of China Power Construction's commitment to the development of new energy in Xinjiang, but also an important driving force for the group's own development strategy.
