On August 23, 2024, a major scientific and technological project with a total investment of up to 4.6 billion yuan: the R&D and manufacturing base of optical potential energy heterojunction tandem cells and modules, was officially announced to be settled in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project is led by Anhui Photovoltaic Energy New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which is deeply engaged in the photovoltaic field, with advanced heterojunction tandem cell and module technology as the core, focusing on bringing efficient, economical and all-weather and all-scenario green energy solutions to the market, and its technical strength is in a leading position in China.

The cooperation will be gradually promoted in three stages, aiming to build a comprehensive photovoltaic industry base integrating R&D, production and sales through refined layout and continuous investment.
