Recently, with the roar of a number of heavy construction machinery, the road construction project from Dongqing Road and Qingxi Road to the current village road has officially kicked off the prelude to comprehensive construction. As a key livelihood project to optimize micro-transportation in the downtown area, the construction progress of the project has attracted much attention.

The project starts from Qingxi Road at the southern end and extends all the way north to the existing village road, close to the west side of Tianhe Vocational Secondary School, with a total length of about 530 meters and a planned red line width of 30 meters. The project covers road paving, drainage system construction, traffic signal control, street lighting installation and green landscape construction, with a total investment of 27.1894 million yuan.

At present, the project site has completed the hardening operation of the steel bar processing area, and is in full swing to clean the roadbed and the earthwork excavation of the rainwater tank culvert, marking that the construction has entered a substantive stage.

In recent years, the municipal key project management department has always adhered to the urban development concept of people first, joint construction and sharing, and continued to increase the investment and construction of people's livelihood infrastructure in the central urban area. The smooth progress of Dongqing Road will significantly enhance the connectivity between roads and municipal pipe networks in Hexi, effectively alleviate the traffic congestion problem in the surrounding areas, provide a more convenient and safe travel environment for the surrounding residents and teachers and students of Tianhe Vocational Secondary School, and further enhance the happiness and satisfaction of citizens.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
