Recently, a large-scale 776 MW high-efficiency photovoltaic project in Yunnan Province is in full swing, which is fully supplied by the industry-leading Seraphim Energy Group. Seraphim adheres to the core service concept of customer first and value first, and relies on its top-notch photovoltaic module products and efficient service mechanism to accelerate the project implementation process, which not only promotes the in-depth development of clean energy in Yunnan, but also strengthens the effectiveness of ecological governance, laying a solid foundation for green and low-carbon development.

Yunnan, located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, has become one of the provinces with the richest solar energy resources in the country due to its unique geographical location and climatic conditions, with a potential of up to 150 million kilowatts of wind power and photovoltaic power, and the consumption efficiency of clean energy is almost perfect. In recent years, Yunnan has actively responded to the call for green energy development, vigorously promoted the layout of the photovoltaic industry, and is committed to building a grand blueprint for the world's photovoltaic capital. According to statistics, Yunnan will lead the country in terms of new centralized photovoltaic installed capacity in 2023, and as of the end of June 2024, its cumulative installed capacity of centralized photovoltaic has exceeded 25.32 million kilowatts.

The project spans Chuxiong City, Lincang City, Qujing City and Guangnan County, covering two major sectors: centralized photovoltaic power stations and rooftop photovoltaic systems, and will officially kick off construction in the second half of 2023. The project is subdivided into six sub-projects with a total installed capacity of 776 MW, of which two projects have been successfully completed and the remaining four projects are under construction. In particular, Seraphim's 182mm bifacial modules are selected for all projects, which combine multi-busbar technology, high-density packaging and half-cell technology to achieve excellent conversion efficiency of more than 21.3% and generate 10% to 30% additional power generation on the back, coupled with its optimized packaging solution to ensure high reliability and large capacity during transportation. It is estimated that after the project is fully operational, it will contribute about 1.3 billion kWh of green electricity to the grid every year, injecting strong impetus into the green and high-quality development of Yunnan's economy.

Li Gang, Chairman of Seraphim Energy Group, said: "Yunnan is an important position for Seraphim to deeply cultivate the southwest market. As the core component supplier of this project, Seraphim stood out from many competitions, once again demonstrating our industry strength and brand value. In the cooperation, Seraphim gives full play to the advantages of products and services, and efficiently completes the delivery of production, transportation, supply and other links. With our excellent technical capabilities and rich project experience, we believe that we will promote more clean energy projects to land in Yunnan in the future and contribute more to the construction of a strong green energy province in the local area." "It is worth mentioning that in order to further support the vigorous development of Yunnan's photovoltaic industry, Seraphim has set up a new production base in Quang Nam County, which has a planned module production capacity of 1 GW and will be officially put into operation in May 2024.

Under the guidance of the dual carbon goals, the pace of global energy transition is accelerating. Seraphim has maintained a rapid development momentum since its establishment, and has been rated as a Tier1 module supplier by Bloomberg New Energy Finance for ten consecutive years, and has won the PVEL Top Module Supplier award five times, and its products have been exported to more than 120 countries and regions around the world. Seraphim will continue to increase brand promotion, broaden its market territory, adhere to the principle of customer orientation, continue to develop and innovate and optimize its production capacity layout, strengthen its differentiated competitive advantage by accurately positioning market segments, and contribute more to the cause of global energy transition and sustainable development.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
