Recently, the cleaning and efficiency improvement renovation project of Haipec thermal power unit, the core energy project of Shanghai's "14th Five-Year Plan", which is fully responsible for the Jiangsu Institute of China Energy Construction China Power Engineering, ushered in an important milestone: the successful pouring of the first concrete of the project officially kicked off the construction.
At the heart of the project is the installation of four state-of-the-art subcritical primary reheat depth back pressure units, which are designed to be as low as 146.7 g/kWh, which is only about half the coal consumption of comparable million-million-ultra-supercritical units, using a cutting-edge design design to achieve a high-pressure twin-cylinder configuration, an optimized six-stage heat recovery system and flexible multi-stage heating regulation technology.
The project also integrates a number of cutting-edge clean and efficient technologies for coal-fired power, such as a steam and electric dual-drive feed pump equipped with a steam recovery device, an innovative ORC waste heat power generation system, an optimized design to achieve zero steam overflow under all working conditions, and ultra-low or near-zero emission environmental protection standards, fully demonstrating four characteristics: a large number of units and heating pipelines, a variety of unit types, and a wide range of new technology applications.
When completed, the project will significantly increase the power and steam supply capacity of the district thermal power units, while achieving a significant reduction in energy consumption, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by up to 1.1 million tons per year. This initiative not only provides strong support for SIPEC's transition to a green and low-carbon energy system, but also promotes the high-quality development of its intelligent manufacturing field and helps build a more environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial future.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
