Recently, during the 2024 Forum on China Africa Cooperation Summit held in Beijing, Egypt signed agreements with six Chinese companies totaling over 1.1 billion US dollars, involving multiple clean energy and industrial projects.

Signed an agreement with Wuxi Boda New Energy, which will invest over $150 million in Egypt to build a 2 GW N-type solar cell production line;

Signed an agreement with Shandong Binhua Group to invest $500 million to establish Egypt's first green chemical plant, using wind, solar, electricity, and natural gas as energy sources to produce chlor alkali products with an annual production capacity of 100000 tons;

Signed an agreement with China Glass Holdings Limited to invest 300 million US dollars to build a float glass production line and an ultra white rolled glass production line, both with a production capacity of 800 tons per day;

Signed an agreement with Shandong Tianyi Chemical Co., Ltd.
