Recently, a green energy feat is accelerating in the vast coal mining subsidence area of Ordos in western Mongolia. Guodian Power announced that its 3 million kilowatt photovoltaic base project has successfully completed two-thirds of the component installation milestone, marking the entry of the world's largest "Shage Desert" coal mining subsidence area photovoltaic project into the sprint stage. This project occupies an unprecedented area, equivalent to ten thousand football fields standing side by side, and is a shining pearl of the national "Shage Wilderness" large-scale scenic base strategy.

Since its approval at the end of 2022, the Inner Mongolia comprehensive energy team has been fully committed to meticulous construction, ensuring efficient progress in every aspect. As a key part of the "West East Electricity Transmission" strategy, this project bundles clean energy and thermal power for export to Shandong, injecting green power into the eastern economic engine and demonstrating the profound significance of energy transformation.

It is expected that after full operation, the annual power generation of the project will reach 5.7 billion kilowatt hours, benefiting millions of households. The annual carbon reduction is equivalent to stopping one million cars or planting more than 60000 hectares of green forests, with extraordinary environmental benefits and social contributions. Guodian Power is taking practical actions to chart a new path for low-carbon, efficient, and sustainable energy development. (This article is from the official website of Jian Dao: www.seetao.com.
