On September 22, 2024, Huacheng (Jilin) New Energy Development Co., Ltd. and Jilin Chagan Lake Ecological Industry Group Co., Ltd. signed the cooperation development agreement of Chagan Lake 300MW wind power project, and the two sides established a joint venture company to jointly develop and construct 300MW wind power project in the Chagan Lake new energy planning area of former Goeros Autonomous County.

According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly invest in the establishment of a joint venture company to invest in the construction of a wind power project with a total installed capacity of 300MW in the Chagan Lake New energy planning area of the former Goros Autonomous County. The project plans to install 48 advanced wind turbines, each with a capacity of up to 6250kW, while supporting the construction of a 110kV booster station and complete ancillary facilities to ensure the stable transmission and efficient management of electric energy.

It is expected that the project will be gradually completed and put into operation in the next few years, when it will significantly improve the clean energy supply capacity of Jilin region, which can transport about 900,000 KWH (900,000 MW·h) of clean electricity to Jilin power grid every year, which is equivalent to reducing a large amount of fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and has positive significance for improving regional air quality and protecting the ecological environment.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
