The wind power project is expected to have a construction period of 6 months, and the main project is planned to be completed on October 30, and the first wind turbine will be connected to the grid on November 30. After the full capacity is connected to the grid, it is expected to generate 985 million kWh of green electricity per year, save 295,500 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 768,300 tons, which has significant social, environmental and economic benefits.

The commencement of this project is an important action for Yumen Oilfield to implement the plan of building a new energy base in Gansu Province and the goal of "rebuilding a green PetroChina" of China National Petroleum Corporation, and it is also a practical measure to help Jiuquan City build a large-scale wind and photovoltaic base, which is of far-reaching significance and has a great impact on accelerating the construction of a clean transformation and development base for oilfields and deepening the cooperation between local enterprises.
