Recently, the groundbreaking event for Changzhou Metro Line 6 was held at the intersection of Line 5 and Line 6- Dongjing 120 Station.

The whole line of the first phase of Metro Line 6 project is in a half ring shape, with a total length of 28.9 kilometers. All of them are underground lines. There are 21 stations, including Changjiang North Road Station, Mount Taishan Road Station, Tongjiang Road Station, New District Park Station, Dinosaur Park West Station, Dinosaur Park Station, Beitanghe Road Station, East longitude 120 Station, Zijing Park Station, Ziyun Station, Zhaofeng Station, Chaoyang Station, Lihua Station, Hebei Station, Ding'an Road Station, Hutang Textile City Station, Yanzheng East Road Station, Tianrun Avenue Station, Science and Education City East Station, Changwu Road Station, and Wujin Riverside Intercity Station. Among them, transfer to Line 1 at Xinqu Park Station and Wujin Riverside Intercity Station, transfer to Line 5 at Dongjing 120 Station, and transfer to Line 2 at Ziyun Station. The first project to start construction this time is the municipal engineering. According to the overall plan, the initial operation is scheduled to be launched before the end of December 2029.

It is reported that the first phase of Line 6 project will focus on the integration of green and smart, traditional and modern, cultural tourism and transportation, and other diverse integrations, creating a new era subway benchmark that is green, smart, safe and humanistic. By implementing measures such as green building creation and intelligent energy management, we aim to create energy-efficient and low-carbon green routes; Empowering smart subways with cloud platforms, fully automated operations, intelligent customer service, and other technologies; Building a smart construction site supervision platform for the subway, utilizing advanced technologies such as mechanical communication channels to ensure the safety of the entire subway process; Relying on the unique cultural and tourism resources along the route, it has become a mobile window to showcase the charm of Changzhou. At the same time, a new type of enclosure will be used in the construction of Line 6, which will be prefabricated in batches by the factory and assembled on site to achieve turnover and reuse.

It is reported that this year marks the 5th anniversary of the opening of Changzhou Metro Line 1 and the 3rd anniversary of the dual track operation of Line 1 and Line 2. The Changzhou subway has transported over 290 million passengers, and subway travel has deeply integrated into the daily lives of the general public. 5.
