Recently, the JTC 118MW ground photovoltaic power generation project in Jurong Island, Singapore, successfully achieved an important milestone of mechanical completion, marking that the project has fully met the conditions for grid-connected power supply.
The project is located on Jurong Island in Singapore, specifically in the south and north of the Banyan site of the energy storage project contracted by Shanxi Institute, and is constructed across six plots with a total area of 60 hectares. The total installed capacity of the project is up to 118MW, and a 22kV switching station is built simultaneously in each plot. Since the official start of construction in February 2024, the project has been progressing smoothly.
As of September 30, the photovoltaic field area of the project has all completed the construction installation and mono commissioning work, and the construction of six 22 kV booster stations has also been completed. This series of achievements marks that the project has fully reached the node of mechanical completion, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent grid connection work. After the completion of the project, it will greatly promote Singapore's green and low-carbon transformation and provide new impetus for the sustainable development of green energy in Singapore.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
