Recently, the Xizang Huadian Shannan Qiongjie 60MW wind energy storage project, which is served as the general contractor by Power Construction Corporation of China, has officially started construction. The project is located 70 kilometers away from Liangshan Prefecture and only 10 kilometers away from Zhaojue County.

According to the project plan, eight wind turbines will be installed, including two units with a capacity of 5.5MW and six units with a capacity of 6.25MW, with an overall installed capacity of 48.5MW. The wind farm is expected to deliver 88.274 million KWH of clean electricity to the grid annually, with an annual equivalent full load operating time of approximately 1,820 hours.

At the same time, the 48.5MW distributed wind power project launched by Dongfang Electric in Sikai Town of Zhaojue County also marks the formal step into the substantive implementation stage of the project. The implementation of this project will bring clean and sustainable energy supply to the local area and further promote the green development of the local economy.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
