On November 29th, Kazakhstan's Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund and Sany Heavy Energy Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for a wind turbine component production plant with a total investment of 114 million US dollars in Zhambyl Oblast, Kazakhstan.

The factory is planned to be completed by the end of 2025 and will produce the necessary machinery, hubs, towers, and other important components for wind power projects, creating over 300 job opportunities locally.

Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Committee of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, said, "The localization level of unit production will be increased to at least 30%. To achieve this goal, Sany Heavy Energy plans to build an additional research and development center.

This project is expected to provide locally produced wind power equipment for wind power projects in Kazakhstan.
