On December 23, 2024, China's Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Company successfully won the bid for the EPC project of a 180 MW thermal power plant in Mozinda, Morocco, marking another important breakthrough in the company's deep cultivation and meticulous work in the Moroccan market.

The project is located in Youssoufia Province, Marrakech Safi Region, Morocco, and is a power generation project that utilizes waste heat steam. This bid is the second joint cooperation between China's Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Company and the project owner after the Julf Power Station project in Morocco, fully demonstrating the company's good reputation and strong strength in the Moroccan market.

As a pioneer of the electric Silk Road and an active practitioner of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, China Shandong Power Construction Third Company has made remarkable achievements in the Moroccan market. The company has successively undertaken the construction of the 1 × 350 MW coal-fired power plant in Jerada, Morocco, the 200 MW trough solar thermal power plant in Nouau Phase II, the 150 MW tower solar thermal power plant in Nouau Phase III, and the Julf power plant project in Morocco.
