On January 29, 2025, a China Europe freight train loaded with 110 TEUs of export goods successfully departed from Yiwu West Railway Station in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China. This train will exit through the Erenhot Port in Inner Mongolia, China and eventually arrive in Moscow, Russia, becoming the first China Europe train to depart during the Lunar New Year in the Yangtze River Delta region of China.

Since 2025, Yiwu China Europe Railway Express has operated a total of 89 trains (including return trains) and successfully transported 9478 TEUs (including return trains) of goods. At present, the Yiwu China Europe freight train has opened 20 transportation routes, which can reach more than 50 countries (regions) on the Eurasian continent such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Germany. The achievement of this result not only demonstrates the strong transportation capacity of the Yiwu China Europe freight train, but also reflects its important role in promoting international trade and regional economic and social development.
