Recently, the general contracting project of the main road of the China-Kyrgyzstan Railway (asection within the Kyrgyz Republic) automobile transportation access road and temporary powersupply main line engineering construction project, consisting of China Railway 11th Bureau andChina Railway Construction Electrochemical Bureau, successfully won the bid.
The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Uzbekistan-China Railway is a landmark project for jointlybuilding the Belt and Road cooperation personally promoted by the heads of state of China.Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and is a strategic project for connectivity between China and CentralAsia. The project starts from Kashgar, Xinjiang, China, enters Kyrgyzstan via the Turgat Pass, thengoes west through the Kyrgyz border city of jalalabad, and finally reaches Aniyan, an easterncity in Uzbekistan.
The project is located in the areas under the jurisdiction of Naren Prefecture and jalalabadPrefecture of Kyrgyzstan, and includes the construction, maintenance and power supply of new(renovated) automobile transportation access roads and temporary power supply trunk lines.substation construction, maintenance and power supply. The total length of the main road ofthe transportation access road is about 119.52 kilometers, divided into six sections A, B, C, D, Eand G. All are trunk lines, and the standard of temporary construction road transportation trunklines is adopted. The main construction contents include earth excavation, filing, gravelpavement, concrete pavement, retaining wall, circular pipe culvert, cover culvert, small bridge.etc. The main projects of temporary power supply include temporary power supply trunk linessubstation construction, maintenance and power supply, including 4 110/35 kV substations265.13 kilometers of 35 kV power supply trunk lines, etc.
