According to the latest foreign news, a Chinese company plans to produce tractors of the "Tulpor" brand in Fergana Region.
Khayrullo Bozorov, the governor of Fergana Region, held talks with Chinese investor Yuan Yanping to discuss the launch of the project in the Kuvasay Industrial Zone. The total investment amounts to 100 million US dollars, with 30 million US dollars allocated for the first phase. As part of the cooperation, a joint venture for tractor production has been registered. Several models of the national brand "Tulpor" will be launched by the end of this year. In order to supply power to the factory, solar panels with a capacity of 2 megawatts will be installed on the factory roof.
The project will be implemented in two phases: the first phase is the construction of a tractor manufacturing plant, and the second phase mainly focuses on the production and maintenance of parts. Smart technologies will be applied to improve efficiency and product quality.
The tractors will be supplied to both the domestic and international markets, and initially, 250 job opportunities will be created. During the meeting, the governor proposed the suggestion of starting the project as soon as possible and instructed relevant officials to establish an effective cooperative relationship with the Chinese investor.
