Recently, China Energy Engineering Group Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. signed the 60MW Saguling floating photovoltaic project in Indonesia. This project is a demonstration floating photovoltaic project built by the Indonesian government.

The project is located in the completed Saguling Reservoir, about 26 kilometers west of Bandung City, West Java Province, Indonesia, and about 100 kilometers in a straight line from the capital Jakarta. The project scope of work includes the construction of a 60MWac floating photovoltaic power plant on the water surface, a 150kV step-up substation, etc.

After the project is completed, it is expected to generate an annual power output of 129,000 MWh, saving about 56,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 149,000 tons per year. It will actively contribute to Indonesia's renewable energy development and green transformation goals. During the project construction period, it is expected to create more than 1,600 direct and indirect job opportunities locally, which will effectively promote the local economic and social development. (This article is from the official website of Seetao.com, www.seetao.com.
