Chen Zhiping, Chairman of Fujian Port Group Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Fujian Silk Road Shipping Operation Co., Ltd., introduced that currently there are 132 "Silk Road Shipping" routes, originating from 12 ports at home and abroad, and reaching 145 ports in 46 countries. As of February 28, 2025, the "Silk Road Shipping" named container route has operated more than 18000 ships, completed a container throughput of over 21 million TEUs, and completed a cargo throughput of over 20 million tons on the bulk cargo route, with a trade volume of approximately 19.5 billion yuan.
In the past year, the "Silk Road Maritime Transport" has released the momentum of multimodal transport, with a total of over 1500 trains operated daily by Fujian Jiangxi sea rail intermodal transport, expanding the variety of goods from 20 to 200, and transporting over 120000 TEUs of container goods. New quality productivity such as intelligent containers and ship weather navigation continue to assist, and brand influence continues to increase.
