Recently, the second phase of the Jining Port Liangshan Port project was officially launched. This major project with a total investment of 2.9 billion yuan will help Liangshan Port become the first "billion ton level inland port" in the Jiangbei region, injecting strong momentum into regional economic development.

Zhang Guangyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jining Energy Group, stated in the project report that in the context of the city's vigorous promotion of industrial and project construction, Liangshan Port, as the "leading hub port" of Jining Port, will achieve a leap in energy level through the second phase project. The project will build 7 new berths, a 27.6-kilometer railway dedicated line, and supporting facilities, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2027. At that time, the port's collection and distribution capacity will reach 80 million tons, the container throughput capacity will exceed 400000 TEUs, and the park's revenue is expected to exceed 30 billion yuan.

Liangshan Port is located at the golden coordinates of the intersection of the Wari Railway and the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal. Since its construction with an investment of 2.2 billion yuan in 2015 and commissioning in 2017, it has always focused on the transportation of bulk commodities such as coal, coke, and steel. As of now, the port has achieved a cumulative cargo volume of 150 million tons, demonstrating strong development momentum. Around the core of Liangshan Port, Jining has successfully built a comprehensive logistics park that integrates port trade, logistics transportation, warehouse receipt pledge, and processing and manufacturing. In 2024, the park achieved a revenue of 17 billion yuan, and it is expected that the port's collection and dredging volume will exceed 42 million tons this year, with a revenue of over 20 billion yuan.

The launch of the second phase project marks a new stage in the development of Liangshan Port. After the completion of the project, it will greatly enhance the comprehensive service capabilities of the port and further promote the deep integration of port industry and city.
