Recently, China Water Industry Group and the Regent of Semarang Regency in Indonesia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the comprehensive management of the TPA Blondo landfill locally. The cooperation content includes projects for power generation from landfill gas at the landfill, landfill operation, and the comprehensive management of leachate treatment.

Semarang Regency is located in the northern part of Central Java Province in Indonesia. The comprehensively managed and resource-utilized landfill project signed this time will make full use of the waste resources in the local landfill. Through advanced landfill gas power generation technology and leachate treatment processes, it will achieve the circular utilization of resources and sustainable environmental development. 

This project is not only the first greenfield development project of China Water Industry Group in its overseas project development, but also an important milestone in the group's realization of overseas strategic transformation.
