On April 15th, 2024, the Rabigh Phase II photovoltaic project in Saudi Arabia, undertaken by Shandong Electric Power Construction Company, officially broke ground. The project is located in the town of Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, and its construction content includes a 300MWac photovoltaic plant area, a 33KV/110KV step-up substation, and supporting overhead line projects.

As a key project of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" and the "National Renewable Energy Program", it is expected that after the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will exceed 500 million kilowatt-hours, which can ensure the green power supply for tens of thousands of local households. It can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 300,000 tons per year, injecting strong impetus into Saudi Arabia's energy structure optimization and green transformation.

Since the project's launch, Shandong Electric Power Construction has adhered to the spirit of "starting with a sprint" and quickly assembled Chinese and foreign technical and management teams. Through a cross-cultural collaboration mechanism, it has efficiently overcome core technical challenges such as design optimization, equipment procurement, and construction plans, and has accelerated the project preparation process in all aspects.

Up to now, the project department has completed the precise measurement and setting out of all pile positions and successfully completed the construction of 50 piles. According to the project plan, all pile foundation construction and pull-out tests will be fully completed by the end of April. At the same time, the bidding and awarding of key equipment such as photovoltaic modules, tracking brackets, and integrated box inverters have been completed. The project construction is steadily progressing as planned, and the overall progress is under control. (This article is from the official website of Seetao.com, www.seetao.com.
