The conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran entered its 24th day on Monday, with attention focused on the deep disagreement between Washington and Tehran over whether to engage in dialogue.

The US has signaled a willingness to negotiate, while Iran has denied this and maintained a hardline stance. This issue has triggered volatility in global stock markets and energy prices. Meanwhile, several Gulf states continue to report new attacks on their territories.

In the US, President Donald Trump stated that after what he called "productive" talks with Iran, he ordered the military to postpone attacks on Iranian power plants and energy facilities for five days.

According to CNBC, Trump said the US "very much wants to reach a deal with Iran." —Influenced by Trump's conciliatory tone, the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged more than 900 points in early trading, a gain of nearly 2%. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 2.07% after entering correction territory in the previous session. The S&P 500 Index rose more than 100 points, a gain of 1.82%.

Reuters, citing Israeli officials, reported that the United States is in talks with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, with the two sides potentially meeting as early as this week in Islamabad. —Trump hinted that the Strait of Hormuz could be "jointly controlled" by the US and Iran.

Israel: The Israeli military stated it had begun large-scale attacks on Iranian infrastructure in Tehran, later stating its targets were Iranian government facilities "in downtown Tehran."

According to Lebanese security sources and official media reports, Israeli forces have captured a strategic location in southern Lebanon and destroyed a key bridge over the Litani River.

In a video statement, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he had spoken with Trump and would "defend Israel's fundamental interests under any circumstances." Israeli media also reported that he had spoken with US Vice President Vance about negotiations with Iran.

The Israeli military stated that an Israeli civilian was killed by its own artillery fire near the Israel-Lebanon border on Sunday, rather than by a Hezbollah rocket as initially reported.

According to local broadcaster al-Jadeed, Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on Monday in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Haret Herek and Bill Abed, after two days of relative calm.

Iran: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bagheei denied any negotiations with the United States, stating that Tehran's position on the Strait of Hormuz and its conditions for ending the war remain unchanged. Galibaf also stated on the social media platform X that Iran "has not engaged in any negotiations with Washington."

Several media outlets quoted Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, as saying that negotiations with the United States under the current circumstances are meaningless.

According to the semi-official Fars News Agency, the Iranian Defense Committee warned that Iran might lay mines in the Gulf if the United States or Israel attacks its coast or islands.
