On June 4, the largest single "tea and light complementation" power station in China, CGN Yunnan Mojiang Lianzhu 235 MW photovoltaic power station, was connected to the grid for power generation. The power station will build a photovoltaic power station on the 5,250 acres of tea mountain leased by the investor to realize the three-dimensional value-added utilization of land and inject new momentum into rural revitalization.

Through the scientific design of the height, density and spacing of photovoltaic strings, the Mojiang Lianzhu 235 MW photovoltaic power station effectively shades the tea trees under the photovoltaic panels, reduces water evaporation, improves air humidity, creates a more stable microclimate for tea growth, and helps to improve the quality of tea. The lease of Chashan to CGN can increase the collective income of the village by about 2.57 million yuan per year. At the same time, labor services such as post-cleaning of photovoltaic panels can provide employment opportunities for local villagers.

Pu Zhiyong, head of CGN New Energy Yunnan Branch, said that after the power station is connected to the grid at full capacity, it can provide about 376 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity for the power grid every year, which can reduce the consumption of standard coal by about 113,000 tons and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 290,000 tons, with obvious economic and social benefits.

After the power station is connected to the grid at full capacity, it can provide about 376 million kWh of clean electricity for the power grid every year, equivalent to reducing the consumption of standard coal by about 113,000 tons, and the economic and social benefits are significant. At the same time, it will be built into a demonstration base of "photovoltaic power generation + new energy science popularization + ecological gain + leisure tourism" in Mojiang, and is expected to receive more than 10,000 tourists annually, making positive contributions to local employment and green and low-carbon energy transformation.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
