The Abuja N16 Road and Bridge Project includes overpasses, N16 trunk roads, community roads, as well as ancillary works such as water supply and drainage systems, sewage systems, street lighting systems, and communication pipelines, with a total length of 3.64 kilometers, which is an important urban transportation hub in Abuja. Located at the intersection of Abuja Ring Road 1 and N16 Road, the interchange bridge spans Abuja 1st Ring Road and together with the N16 Road Extension, it connects the three core areas of Maitama, Katampe and Gwarinpa, becoming a key transportation artery between the east and west of the city.
The project started construction in October 2024, and during the construction process, the company actively fulfilled its social responsibilities by employing a large number of residents of communities and villages along the route and providing them with professional training, directly or indirectly creating more than 1,300 jobs. After the completion of the project, a number of expressways in the urban area of Abuja will be connected, further improving the urban road network and greatly alleviating the traffic congestion in the urban area. This will not only significantly improve the daily travel and living conditions of local residents, but also greatly enhance the economic vitality of the surrounding area, help upgrade the image of Abuja city, and effectively improve people's life satisfaction.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
