On June 27, 2025, Hongqi Civil Explosives Group Sasulfite Company successfully carried out the first blasting operation at the construction site of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Project. With the issuance of the detonation order, the blasting point was accurately exploded, and the rock was broken according to the predetermined plan, which was safe and efficient throughout the process, marking that the landmark project of the Belt and Road Initiative has officially entered the substantive construction stage.

As an international corridor connecting China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is listed as a key project of the national Belt and Road Initiative. When completed, the railway will significantly shorten the freight time between Central Asia and China, and will become a key component of the Eurasian Land Bridge. In terms of pyrotechnics management, the company has launched an intelligent tracking system to realize the visual supervision of the whole process from the Gansu production base to the construction site in Kyrgyzstan to ensure the safe transportation of 287 tons of explosives.

The successful completion of this blasting demonstrates the hard power of China's civil explosive enterprises to "go global".
