Project Overview

The project site is located on Changmen Changbiao Island, Changchun Town, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is situated in the northeast of Dongchong Peninsula and on the southwest coast of Funing Bay. The project has significant location advantages, with a northeast distance of about 27 kilometers from Ningde Nuclear Power Plant, a northwest distance of about 18 kilometers from Xiapu County, and a southwest distance of about 59 kilometers from Ningde City.

As an important national energy base, the Xiapu Nuclear Power Project is planned to have a total installed capacity of 7 units. One phase of the project will construct two "Hualong One" pressurized water reactor nuclear power units with independent intellectual property rights, using internationally advanced third-generation nuclear power technology.
