The Public Resources Trading Supervision and Administration Bureau of Anqing City, Anhui Province has officially released the bidding announcement for the first phase of the design and general contracting of the 20GWh power battery project, marking the substantive construction stage of this major new energy industry project. The announcement shows that the project has been approved by the competent department and currently meets the conditions for open bidding. The deadline for submitting bidding documents is 9:30 am on August 15, 2025.

It is understood that Anhui Zhenyi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for promoting the project as the tenderer, with a planned total construction area of 260000 square meters. The project construction includes an annual production line of 20GWh lithium-ion power batteries for vehicles and supporting facilities. Specifically, core production facilities such as battery cell production plants, small and medium-sized test lines, coating workshops, testing centers, raw material warehouses, and finished product warehouses will be built. At the same time, supporting environmental protection facilities such as power stations, Class A warehouses, solid waste warehouses, hazardous waste warehouses, sewage treatment stations, NMP purification facilities, as well as 110KV substations and external lines (including 10kV backup power lines), biomass boiler plants and auxiliary rooms, canteens, security guards, and other auxiliary facilities will be constructed. The total investment of the project is about 1.7 billion yuan.

According to public information from Qichacha, Anhui Zhenyi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on July 3, 2025, with Liu Zhiqiang as the legal representative and a registered capital of 500 million yuan. The company's business scope covers multiple new energy fields, including battery manufacturing and sales, production and sales of battery spare parts, energy storage technology services, research and development of new material technology, and recycling and cascading utilization of waste power batteries for new energy vehicles.

In terms of equity structure, Anhui Zhenyi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is wholly controlled by Changzhou Yineng Industrial Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
