Chaoxun Guangming Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Chaoxun Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chaoxun Communication"), and Electricite du Laos recently signed a memorandum of cooperation on photovoltaic power projects in the capital city of Vientiane, Laos. This milestone signing marks the official implementation phase of Laos' first large-scale onshore photovoltaic project.
As a strategic layout of Chaoxun Communication in the field of new energy, this project not only responds to the strategic coordination between China and Laos in the field of green development, but also is an important practice for enterprises to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals and expand the renewable energy market in Southeast Asia. After the project is signed, both parties will accelerate the final confirmation of key documents such as the power development agreement, franchise agreement, and power purchase agreement.
Chaoxun Guangming Co., Ltd. will serve as the main implementation entity of the project, fully leveraging Chaoxun Communication's technical accumulation and project experience in the photovoltaic field, and combining with the local resource advantages of the partner, to build a full lifecycle service system from early planning and design, mid-term engineering construction to later intelligent operation and maintenance. It is reported that the project will adopt internationally advanced solar panels and power conversion technology, and be equipped with a digital monitoring system to ensure efficient and reliable production of clean energy.

In terms of environmental protection, the project will strictly adhere to international environmental standards and minimize its impact on the local ecological environment by using environmentally friendly materials and equipment. The person in charge of Chaoxun Communication stated that the project will be developed into a demonstration project for energy cooperation between China and Laos, providing a Chinese solution for Laos' energy structure transformation.
Industry insiders pointed out that the implementation of the project will effectively ease the tight situation of power supply in Laos, optimize the local energy structure, and provide valuable experience for Chinese enterprises to participate in new energy construction in countries along the the Belt and Road. As the project progresses, Chaoxun Communication is expected to occupy a more important strategic position in the Southeast Asian new energy market.
