Recently, the consortium of China Energy Construction Group Northeast Electric Power Third Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Energy Construction East Electric Third Company") successfully signed the EPC general contract for the 200 MW mountain photovoltaic and 80 MW/80 MWh energy storage system project in Morowali Industrial Park, Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. This project is not only the largest integrated solar energy storage project in Indonesia, but also another important breakthrough made by Chinese enterprises in the Southeast Asian new energy market.

The project is located in Morowali Industrial Park, Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The construction includes a 200 MW/255 MW peak photovoltaic power station, an 80 MW/80 MWh energy storage power station, a 220 kV substation, and a 10 kilometer 220 kV transmission line. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to generate 350 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 280000 tons per year.

As a key energy project in Indonesia, this project will provide stable and reliable clean power supply for the Morowali Industrial Park, significantly increase the proportion of renewable energy use in the park, and effectively promote the green and low-carbon transformation process of the park. At the same time, the implementation of the project will also make a positive contribution to Indonesia's goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2060.

China Energy Construction East Electric Third Company stated that it will fully leverage its professional advantages and technical strength in the field of new energy, promote project construction with high standards, and ensure the timely and high-quality completion of projects. The successful signing of this project not only demonstrates the competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the international new energy market, but also sets a new example for cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of clean energy.
