Chinese hydrogen energy technology company Suzhou Xinsichuang Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Sincetrue) reached an important cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia's Moaj Energy Investment Company on August 12 to build six modern hydrogen refueling stations in Saudi Arabia, three of which will be supported by green hydrogen production plants. The project is expected to be officially put into operation in 2026, marking another important breakthrough in China's hydrogen energy technology in the Middle East market.
According to the agreement, the six hydrogen refueling stations will be strategically located along the Riyadh-Mecca Highway 8 in Saudi Arabia, covering 1,600 kilometers of transportation arteries from the Red Sea port city of Jeddah to Dammam on the Persian Gulf coast, forming a complete hydrogen energy supply network. It is particularly worth noting that three of the hydrogen refueling stations will be equipped with on-site hydrogen production facilities, and two 750kW electrolyzers will be installed in each hydrogen production plant to achieve a green hydrogen energy supply model of "integration of production and use", greatly improving operational efficiency and sustainability.

In addition to the construction of hydrogen refueling stations, Sincetrue also plans to carry out in-depth cooperation with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and King Saudi University to jointly promote the 5MW green hydrogen energy demonstration project and explore the large-scale application path of hydrogen energy technology in Saudi Arabia.
As an important player in the global energy transition, Saudi Arabia is actively promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry. The cooperation between Chinese and Saudi Arabian enterprises is not only a successful practice of China's hydrogen energy technology "going global", but also provides a demonstration model for the in-depth cooperation between the two countries in the field of new energy. Industry experts pointed out that the rapid rise of the hydrogen energy market in the Middle East will bring important development opportunities to China's hydrogen energy industry chain enterprises, including equipment manufacturing and technical services.
The implementation of the project will further consolidate China's leading position in the field of global hydrogen energy technology, and will also help Saudi Arabia achieve a diversified transformation of its energy structure and promote the development of green energy in the Middle East.(This article is from the official website of Jiandao www.seetao.com it must not be reprinted without permission, otherwise it will be investigated, please indicate the reprint of Jiandao.com + original link) See the Middle East column editor/Gao Xue
