Jingbian County in northern Shaanxi is accelerating its transformation into a modern logistics hub, and through the construction of the China-Europe Express Assembly and Distribution Center and the Dry Port Pilot Demonstration Zone, it has achieved the strategic goal of "dry wharf linking large hub". The business of the China-Europe Express (Yulin-Xi'an-Almaty/Minsk) has developed rapidly, and since the opening of the return business in April 2024, a total of 394 trains have been issued, with a cargo value of 1.48 billion yuan. In April 2025, Jingbian signed a cooperation agreement with the Xi'an Chanba International Port Management Committee to jointly build the "Yulin (Jingbian) Collaborative Innovation Zone", with a total of about 300 trains and more than 30,000 boxes planned to be distributed throughout the year. At the same time, Jingbian actively expanded rail-sea intermodal trains, developed domestic and foreign trade routes through Tianjin Port and Guangxi Qinzhou Port, and further expanded the scale of import and export trade.

The construction of the dry port pilot demonstration zone has injected new momentum into the economic development of the Jingbian hub. The Jingbian Dry Port Pilot Demonstration Zone project of the Belt and Road Land-Sea New Corridor, launched in September 2024, promotes the modernization and transformation of the logistics system by building four core structures: "one transportation capacity network, one industrial chain, one digital cloud, and one capital platform". The project also includes the construction of Yulin's first railway customs supervision site, as well as major projects such as coal logistics bases, regional coal trading centers and data centers.

The relevant person in charge of Jingbian County said that during the critical period of the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the layout of the "15th Five-Year Plan", Jingbian will integrate into the construction of the Belt and Road with a more open attitude, comprehensively improve the energy level of the hub, develop an export-oriented economy, and write a new chapter on the Silk Road in the new era.
