Recently, the new energy battery industry has ushered in a new round of expansion. Anhui Volt Times' 10GWh semi-solid-state battery project and Gansu Guoke Energy's 30GWh energy storage battery project (Phase I) have started construction successively. The two major bases represent a total investment of over 10 billion yuan, focusing on the three popular tracks of small power, low-altitude economy, and energy storage, reflecting the accelerated advancement of China's new energy battery industry towards high-end and diversified fields. On August 31, the Anhui Volt Era new energy battery project officially commenced. Covering an area of 274 acres with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, the project is designed to have an annual production capacity of 10GWh. It primarily aims to supply semi-solid/solid-state high-end lithium battery products to the small power market, small-scale energy storage equipment, and the low-altitude economy sectors. According to publicly available information, Volt Era was established in December 2024 and is a new enterprise focused on the research, production, and sales of semi-solid/solid-state batteries.

On August 30, the first phase of the Lanzhou New Area new energy battery production base, invested in and constructed by Anhui Guoke Energy Technology Co., Ltd., also officially started. The project has an overall planned annual production capacity of 30GWh, to be advanced in three phases, with each phase constructing 10GWh. The first phase, which has commenced, is located in the New Materials Industrial Park of Lanzhou New Area, with a total investment of approximately 3 billion yuan. It plans to build 4 lithium iron phosphate energy storage cell production lines, including two models of 314Ah and 30Ah. Upon full completion, the first phase is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 10GWh, with projected annual revenues reaching 4.1 billion yuan.Since its establishment in August 2022, Guoke Energy has been rapidly expanding its production capacity layout. Currently, it has set up production bases in Chuzhou, Anqing, Nanjing, and Lanzhou in China, with a total planned investment exceeding 30 billion yuan. Edited by Xu Shengpeng.
