On September 3, 2025, Yuantong International Express announced a major overseas investment initiative. In order to deepen the international development strategy and follow the development opportunities of cross-border e-commerce, Chinese enterprises and the the Belt and Road, the company formally concluded a sales agreement with the seller through an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, and successfully acquired two high-quality plots located in the south of Khorgos Almaty Road, Baiserke Village, Almaty State, Kazakhstan, at a total cost of 6.1315 million dollars, with a total land area of 442000 square meters.

This acquisition marks substantial progress in YTO International's strategic layout in Central Asia. The plot is located on an international logistics hub, with significant location advantages. The company plans to invest in the construction of bonded and non bonded warehouses, modern storage yards, joint venture logistics warehouses, and complete living supporting facilities on this plot, creating a smart logistics hub in Central Asia.

YTO Express International Express stated that this project will effectively enhance the company's control over key regions and national logistics core infrastructure, and build a safer, smoother, more convenient, efficient, and sustainable logistics supply chain system. By increasing investment in the construction of core logistics infrastructure, the project will form a synergistic effect with the existing warehousing, delivery, and logistics capabilities of the group, further optimizing the cross-border logistics product matrix and extending the cross-border logistics service chain.

The company is committed to providing one-stop comprehensive logistics services for global customers, including consolidation and shipping, mainline transportation, customs clearance and transfer, and end of pipe delivery. This acquisition will significantly enhance YTO's global comprehensive service capabilities in international express delivery, international freight and supply chain business, and steadily promote the global logistics network strategic layout of "China connects the world, the world connects the world".

Industry experts pointed out that this move not only demonstrated the accelerated pace of Chinese express enterprises going to sea, but also reflected the deepening of economic and trade cooperation between China and Kazakhstan under the the Belt and Road Initiative, which will inject new momentum into regional economic development and promote the modernization and upgrading of logistics infrastructure in Central Asia.
