Recently, the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) Xiamen delegation held a major project completion event in Xiamen, and the highly anticipated China Construction First Engineering Group's era high-performance lithium battery project officially started construction. Cui Yonghui, member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, Wu Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Yang Guohao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and Ren Chuanbin, Deputy General Manager of China Construction First Engineering Bureau, and other leaders attended together to witness the launch of this key industrial upgrading project.

The project is located in the Torch High tech Zone of Xiamen, with a bid amount of 5.2 billion yuan and a total construction area of approximately 1.21 million square meters. It covers the entire production chain including battery cell factories, module factories, finished product warehouses, and supporting facilities. After the completion of the project, a complete lithium battery research and development manufacturing ecosystem will be established, providing key support for core areas such as new energy vehicles and energy storage systems, and helping Xiamen build a new energy growth pole in the "4+4+6" modern industrial system.

The person in charge of the Torch High tech Zone Management Committee stated that they will take this construction as an opportunity to continuously deepen the full life cycle service mechanism, and take measures such as precise policy supply, efficient allocation of factors, and reengineering of approval processes to safeguard project construction and ensure early production and effectiveness. This kind of service enterprise is the concept of service development, which is being transformed into a vivid practice of optimizing the business environment in Xiamen.

As the construction party, China Construction First Engineering Bureau regards this project as an important carrier for fulfilling the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises. The project team leader revealed that they will fully leverage their professional advantages in areas such as super high-rise buildings and industrial plants, adopt intelligent construction technology to achieve full process digital management, and ensure efficient project performance. The project is expected to create thousands of job opportunities and attract upstream and downstream enterprises to cluster through industrial supporting facilities, forming an industrial cluster development pattern of leading, chain clustering, and ecological optimization.

It is worth noting that this project is highly aligned with Xiamen's strategic goal of building an international innovation highland for the new energy storage industry. With the successive layout of leading enterprises such as CATL and Zhongchuang Aviation, Xiamen's new energy industry has formed a cluster effect of billions.
