Recently, China Railway Tunnel Group Construction Co., Ltd., together with Guangxi Power Transmission and Transformation Survey and Design Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Gaoxin Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Changqiao Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., formed a consortium and successfully won the EPC general contracting project for the Bobai County Government Asset Roof Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Project (South Area) in Guangxi. The total investment of this project is about 585 million yuan, and it is planned to be fully constructed and implemented by 2025.

The project is located in the southern area of Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi, covering 18 townships including Jiangning Town, Huangling Town, and Wangmao Town. The project will fully utilize the idle roof resources of government assets, with a total utilization area of 605100 square meters, including 409400 square meters of roofs in school areas, 164100 square meters in administrative and public institution areas, and 31600 square meters in hospital areas.

The winning consortium won the project with a bid price of 474 million yuan and will undertake the entire process of general contracting tasks from survey and design, equipment procurement, construction, to grid connected power generation and completion acceptance. As an important new energy infrastructure project in Bobai County, the completion of the project will significantly improve the local level of clean energy utilization. It is expected to generate considerable annual electricity and effectively reduce carbon emissions.

The implementation of this project marks a substantial step forward for Bobai County in promoting energy structure adjustment and achieving the "dual carbon" goal. It also demonstrates the comprehensive strength of China Railway Tunnel Bureau in the field of new energy construction, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent development of similar markets.
