Recently, China Railway Construction Corporation's two main units, China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau and China Railway 21st Bureau, jointly won the bid for a key infrastructure project in a certain region, with a total investment of over 800 million yuan. This winning bid is not only another important breakthrough for the two companies in the regional infrastructure market, but also marks China Railway Construction's mature practice in integrating internal resources and collaborating to develop major projects, setting an example for similar engineering cooperation in the future.

From the perspective of project positioning, the 800 million level project won this time belongs to a regional "transportation+people's livelihood" composite infrastructure project, with the core covering three major areas: urban expressway renovation and expansion, new construction of cross river bridges, and upgrading of supporting pipeline networks. Among them, the main span length of the river crossing bridge reaches 180 meters, and prefabricated assembly technology will be used to shorten the construction period by more than 40%; The urban expressway renovation section needs to simultaneously achieve "mainline rapid development+auxiliary road refinement". After completion, it can increase regional traffic efficiency by 50% and solve the aging problem of drainage networks in three old communities around it. It has dual values of traffic diversion and improving people's livelihoods, which is also the core reason why the project is defined as a "key project".

At the level of enterprise division of labor, the two units achieved precise cooperation based on technological advantages: China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau, with its rich experience in large-span bridge construction, was responsible for the construction of the main structure of the river crossing bridge. Its participation in landmark projects such as the Zhuhai Connection Line of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge and the Harbin Yangmingtan Bridge provided mature technical references for this project; China Railway 21st Bureau focuses on the construction of urban expressways and supporting pipeline networks, relying on its refined management capabilities in municipal road renovation and expansion, and tackling the difficulties of "simultaneous traffic and construction" on existing roads. Previous projects such as Lanzhou South Ring Expressway and Xi'an Metro supporting roads have verified its construction strength under complex working conditions.

It is worth noting that this project construction will fully implement the concept of "green infrastructure". During the construction process, it is planned to adopt the standards of building waste recycling rate not less than 30% and construction dust control compliance rate of 100%. At the same time, a smart construction site management system will be introduced to optimize the construction process in real time through AI monitoring, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. This construction model of "advanced technology+green and low-carbon" not only meets the current national requirements for high-quality development of infrastructure projects, but also provides replicable green construction solutions for subsequent infrastructure projects in the region.

From a market perspective, this winning bid further consolidates the market position of the two companies in the target area. In recent years, China Railway Construction Major Bridge Bureau has undertaken more than 15 projects such as cross river bridges and highways in the region. China Railway 21st Bureau has also deeply cultivated the local market through municipal road and rail transit supporting projects. The "1+1>2" effect formed by this joint bid will help China Railway Construction to be more competitive in regional infrastructure bidding. In addition, the project is expected to have a construction period of 18 months. After completion, it will connect industrial parks, transportation hubs, and residential areas in the region, providing key support for the construction of a "15 minute living circle" and a "30 minute industrial circle" in the local area, and playing an important role in promoting the coordinated development of regional economy.

With the launch of the 800 million yuan project, China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau and China Railway 21st Bureau have formed a joint project department to clarify the division of responsibilities for key milestones such as technology, safety, and progress.
