Recently, China National Heavy Machinery Industry Corporation signed a contract with an Algerian owner for an annual production of 200000 tons of steel rolling project. This project covers the design of steel rolling production lines, public auxiliary facilities, and steel structure factories, as well as the supply, installation guidance, and commissioning of related equipment throughout the entire process. This signing marks a new level of market development for China National Heavy Machinery in the field of metallurgy in Africa. In the future, CNOOC Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. will take the regional center of CNOOC Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. in Türkiye as the strategic fulcrum, deeply cultivate the Algerian market, actively radiate and develop the markets of surrounding countries, and continuously improve the international operation level of enterprises.

At the same time, China Chemical Engineering Group has also made significant progress in the Egyptian market. In Cairo, the capital of Egypt, Mo Dingge, Chairman of China National Chemical Corporation, Mukur Agarwal, Executive Director of Rama Holding Company in India, and Mohamed Abdul Azim, Chairman of Egyptian Phosphate Company, witnessed the signing of the general contract for the phosphate fertilizer project between China National Chemical Corporation Donghua and its partner. The project is located in Ain Suhena, Egypt. The construction mainly includes a daily production capacity of 3100 tons of sulfuric acid plant, a daily production capacity of 1935 tons of DAP (diammonium phosphate) plant, and supporting public works. With its high conversion rate, significant energy-saving effect, and clean and pollution-free process characteristics, it has become a model of China Egypt capacity cooperation. The project is a vivid practice of cooperation under the framework of the "the Belt and Road". After completion, it will strongly promote the transformation and upgrading of Egypt's local phosphorus chemical industry from primary raw material processing to production of high value-added products.
