On October 17, 2025, Ningxia Ningdong Lvke New Energy Co., Ltd. officially released the bidding announcement for the EPC general contracting of the first phase of the modern coal chemical industry green power park energy storage project. The project has a scale of 300MW/1200MWh and requires each battery compartment to have a capacity of no less than 6.25MWh. It is planned to achieve full capacity grid connection before April 30, 2026, which will effectively enhance the regional power grid's peak shaving capacity and promote the consumption of new energy.
The project is located in Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base in Ningxia, and the bidding scope covers the entire process of pre project services, survey and design, equipment procurement, engineering construction, installation and commissioning, and start-up and trial operation. The equipment procurement includes the primary and secondary equipment of the energy storage power station, and it is required to complete the procurement of the primary and secondary equipment for this interval according to the relevant requirements for the connection of the 330kV green pine substation.

The bidding documents provide clear requirements for the qualifications of bidders: they must possess a first level or higher qualification for general contracting of power engineering construction and a valid safety production license, as well as a Class A comprehensive qualification for engineering design or a Class A qualification for design in the power industry. In terms of technical capabilities, bidders must demonstrate their ability to integrate energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, and EMS, and have independent research and development production capabilities for at least one of them. The cumulative supply performance of energy storage system integration in the past two years must reach at least 1GWh.
This tender accepts consortium bidding and requires the selection of top tier brands in the market to ensure the compatibility, interchangeability, and complete compatibility of communication protocols for subsequent upgraded products. The project is scheduled to commence on November 20, 2025, and the specific start date shall be subject to the bidder's commencement notice.
The construction of this project will effectively promote the development of Ningxia's new energy industry, provide green power support for the modern coal chemical industry, and provide important demonstrations for the promotion and application of large-scale energy storage technology. After the completion of the project, it will effectively enhance the stability of the power grid and the ability to absorb new energy, helping to achieve energy structure optimization and dual carbon goals.
