The latest data shows that from January to September, the investment in water conservancy construction in China reached 879.79 billion yuan, laying a solid foundation for achieving the annual water conservancy construction goals.

The Ministry of Water Resources focuses on promoting the construction of major national water network projects and river basin flood control and disaster reduction management systems, and accelerates the construction of a number of major water conservancy projects. In the first three quarters, major projects such as the reinforcement of key embankments in Dongting Lake District, Hunan Province, Huangmaoxia Reservoir in Guangdong Province, and Yongbei Irrigation District in Guangxi Province were successively launched. These projects not only improved the regional water security guarantee capacity, but also effectively stimulated employment. From January to September, the national water conservancy construction implemented local government special bonds worth 120.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47.4%; Bank loans amounted to 135.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.5%; Social capital reached 117.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%. It is worth mentioning that private capital investment reached 8.36 billion yuan, an increase of 43.7% compared to the same period last year, indicating the continuous strengthening of social capital's confidence in the water conservancy field. This diversified investment pattern of government market synergy provides strong support for the sustainable development of water conservancy.
