Project Overview

The total investment for the second phase of the key embankment reinforcement project in the Dongting Lake region of Hunan Province, as well as the unfinished projects from the original second phase, amounts to approximately 6.801 billion yuan. This includes approximately 5.776 billion yuan for the second phase of embankment reinforcement and approximately 1.025 billion yuan for the unfinished projects from the original second phase. The project funds primarily come from state-owned funds, amounting to approximately 594 million yuan. The project follows the principles of "systematic governance, step-by-step construction, and meeting standards for each embankment", advancing in two phases to treat a total of 11 key embankments. The first phase has completed the reinforcement of embankments such as Songli, Anzao, and Yuanli, while the second phase focuses on reinforcing and treating the remaining embankments. This project has also been selected as one of the top ten water conservancy projects nationwide.
