Recently, the booster station project of the Saudi Arabia Fulis 2 GW photovoltaic power station project, jointly constructed by China Energy Engineering International Corporation, Guangdong Thermal Power, and Northwest Institute, has officially started construction. The commencement of construction this time not only marks the comprehensive entry of this giant new energy project into the substantive construction stage, but also demonstrates the strong strength and excellent reputation of China Energy Construction in the Saudi photovoltaic market.

The Saudi Fulis 2 GW photovoltaic power station project is located in the northeast of Jeddah, Mecca Province, western Saudi Arabia, with an important geographical location. As an important component of Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision" national strategy for new energy planning, this project carries the Kingdom's ambition to optimize its energy structure and promote diversified economic development. The construction content of the project covers the entire industry chain, including design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, construction, and commissioning, demonstrating China Energy Construction's comprehensive service capabilities as a global leader in energy construction. After the project is fully put into operation, it will continue to provide clean power for Saudi Arabia, significantly increase the proportion of clean energy in local energy consumption, inject strong impetus into local green and low-carbon development, and also write a new chapter for high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road.

It is worth noting that the Fulis project is another important milestone that China can create in the Saudi Arabian market. It has become the third large-scale photovoltaic power station built by China Energy Construction in Saudi Arabia, following the successful construction of the Saudi Arabia Al Shubah 2.6 GW photovoltaic project and the Harden 2 GW photovoltaic power station project. The successive implementation of this series of projects not only consolidates China Energy Construction's market position in the field of new energy in Saudi Arabia and even the Middle East, but also demonstrates its active practice of green development concept and practical actions to help the global energy transformation.

Looking forward to the future, the project team of China Energy Construction said that it would fully draw on and use the valuable experience and resource advantages accumulated in the performance of Saudi Arabia's pre photovoltaic projects, and with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism, it would spare no effort to promote the construction of the Forris project to achieve high standards, high quality and high efficiency, ensure that the project is put into operation on schedule, and inject continuous power into China Energy Construction to deepen China Saudi Arabia energy cooperation and jointly draw a new picture of green development along the the Belt and Road.Editor/Cheng Liting
