Recently, China Power Construction Group has made significant breakthroughs in overseas markets, signing contracts for a 100 MW biomass photovoltaic joint power plant project in Cambodia and winning the bid for the pile foundation project of the Penang Light Rail project in Malaysia, demonstrating its strong competitiveness in the international engineering field.

In the Cambodian market, China Electric Power Construction and Cambodia Kampong Spee Energy Co., Ltd. officially signed the EPC general contract for the 100 MW biomass photovoltaic joint power plant project in Phnom Penh. The project is located in the central western part of Cambodia's Pursat Province, with plans to construct a combined power generation system of a 50 MW biomass power station and a 50 MW photovoltaic power station, and to build related facilities. This innovative hybrid energy solution can achieve stable power supply and fully utilize local agricultural resources, providing new ideas for optimizing Cambodia's energy structure.

Since entering the Cambodian market in 2006, China Power Construction Corporation has been deeply involved in the country for nearly 20 years. From the earliest construction of the Gan Zai hydropower station to a series of major projects such as the Stenwodai hydropower station, the Elesai hydropower station, and the Sang River II hydropower station, China Electric Power Construction has accumulated 160 contracted projects in Cambodia and China, becoming an important participant and reliable partner in Cambodia's infrastructure construction.

At the same time, in the Malaysian market, China Power Construction successfully won the bid for the third section of the pile foundation project of the Penang Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, becoming the only Chinese funded enterprise shortlisted for the project. This is also the second bid section won by China Power Construction in this project, fully reflecting the owner's recognition of China Power Construction's technological strength.

The Penang Light Rail Project, as a key municipal project in Malaysia, connects Penang Island with the core area of Perak Province, with a total length of approximately 29 kilometers and 21 stations. After completion, this project will effectively alleviate local traffic congestion, promote regional economic integration, significantly improve the level of urban public transportation services and residents' quality of life. Due to the tight project schedule, high standards, and strict requirements, extremely high demands have been placed on the comprehensive capabilities of construction enterprises.

With rich experience and technical strength accumulated in the Malaysian market, China Power Construction has completed multiple foundation treatment engineering projects and established a good market reputation. The consecutive winning of important sections of the light rail project further consolidates its position in the field of infrastructure construction in Malaysia.
